We’re currently making plans to launch a new radio station having been awarded a full 5 year community licence by Ofcom. The station, Switch Radio, will broadcast to a population of over 120,000 people in areas in north east Birmingham and north Solihull including Castle Vale, Erdington, Stockland Green, Hodge Hill, Shard End, Smith’s Wood and Kingshurst.

We hope to have all the funding in place by late summer 2009 and to launch the station on FM and on line by February 2010. Watch this space for further updates.
